Yesterday while cruising Pinterest, I came across this pin of Anna Wintour's office at Vogue, which we saw snippets of in 2009's "The September Issue:"

It's been a few years since that film came out and we first saw her office, but the serenity and chicness of the image struck me immediately. Lately I've been drawn to much more classic interiors that look collected as opposed to "decorated", and I think Wintour's office is a perfect example of a space that is both fresh, personal and timeless at the same time. Here's my version of Wintour's office to which I would add enormous clusters of peonies and tons of graphic art:

Laundry Room Fantasies

Not sure what it says about me that my number one daydream involves laundry rooms. They're not just your average laundry rooms, though...

You have to understand where I'm coming from. In LA, as in any major city, space is hard to come by. My "laundry room"  is a closet in my kitchen. I would post a picture but it's just too sad to look at; I'd rather stare at these beauties instead, wouldn't you?

This last one's my favorite. Every last detail is perfect. So swanky!

Pinterest Trends: "Like" What You See?

Awhile back, one of my go-to morning bloggers posted what her Tumblr account revealed about her. I'm not completely sold on Tumblr yet (it's here if you want to check it out), but I always find it interesting to look at my "Likes" on Pinterest. Maybe it's because I don't have to choose a board and write a descriptive, they tend to be a little more insightful for me. Anyway, here are mine from this week:

I have been yearning for a little more simplicity in my own home, and I can see a little of that here. Also, there is never enough coffee for me, so a custom coffee cabinet? Luxury! What do your Pinterest "Likes" reveal about you?
